Review for Villa Louise in Aloxe-Corton
I had a lovely stay here and will definitely be back! the food was fabulous, and my superior double room was a decent size. the bathroom was fairly clean and had all the conveniences I needed, including a hair dryer, terry dressing gowns, and shower caps. the location is excellent and amazing, set in a tranquil French vineyard that completely met my needs.

Our stay was wonderful, as always. The service was excellent, and the rooms were modern and airy, complete with a cozy fireplace. The location is fantastic, with several nearby wineries and excellent tastings, as well as great restaurants.

This was a reasonably clean and romantic hotel. It was in a peaceful location particularly in booking reservations or advising on local activities. And we were near to the garden or house, and a beautiful vineyard.

I did not want to leave and would return here. Above average and great breakfast, loved it with plenty of food. The staff were exceptionally attentive and efficient and made me feel welcome.
Cannot find any fault.

The beautiful location in the middle of the vineyards. Beautiful grounds, beautiful view. Loved the terrace of the duplex suite.
There was a problem with our reservation. We had reserved the duplex suite (stated in our booking reservation which I printed out and showed to the hotel personnel), but were given the suite in the ground floor (without the privace terrace in the first floor). The hotel claimed Booked.net had given them the wrong information and they showed us an email from Booked.net stating we had the ground floor suite (price was the same). Finally after insisting and a few minutes wait, he came back and agreed to give us the duplex suite. Please investigate to ensure this is not a problem with Booked.net reservations. Apart from this the spa structures (pool, sauna and hammam) were not well appointed. They were not well finished (there was an electrical extension cord across the hall going to the sauna and hammam, air came in through the bottom of the sauna and strong vapor pipe not well covered in the hamman, actually burning my foot when sitting down. However, we were still able to benefit from these activities and they were pleasant to have.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made us feel right at home. The location of this place is truly breathtaking, situated on a slope backed by a large vineyard. We enjoyed sipping on wine while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards from our terrace. The room itself was beautifully renovated with exposed beams and had ample space to relax in. The amenities provided, such as the indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam room, added to our comfort and relaxation.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Everything but the terrible wifi.
The wifi was abysmal and prohibited my ability to do the business I was in Burgundy to do.

We stayed in the Pigionary and were unsure of what it would be like but it more than met our hopes and expectations. The staff were amazing and rustled up some cheese and meat for a snack as we were too tired after our Journey from England. We arrived about 5.30 to a very warm welcome, shown to our own bit of paradise overlooking the vineyards, had a swim and went to the main building for our "snack". We then sat in the lounge by a log fire finishing our excellent bottle of wine. Breakfast was amazing and so different.
That we were only there one night!

Located in the heart of Burgundy’s famous vineyards, the hotel is nestled on a slope backed by a vast vineyard. the picturesque location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to relax in the serene countryside, surrounded by walled Burgundian vineyards. the comfortable and well-equipped rooms offer a breathtaking view of the vineyard, adding to the charm of the experience. the breakfast is a delicious mix of regional and continental foods, and the staff is always happy to provide their guests with helpful tips and amazing service.
The hotel can be tricky to find; however, it is worth the adventure to uncover such an awe-inspiring location.

Really clean, pretty hotel in a middle of wine country. Maybe a bit overpriced, but staff is great. As long as they redo their restaurant suggestions, worth a consideration.
Parking is a nightmare. You need to drive through a 6 foot wide curving road between two old buildings in order to get into the parking lot. Not for the faint of heart, or folks who like their cars unscathed. Lack of restaurant on-site is a major problem, because the restaurant we were sent to was poor in quality, service is very slow, and you are physically threatened if you are unhappy with the service.
